Technical Approach

We built the platform using Node.js with a microservices architecture for scalability. Redis manages the job queue and caches frequently accessed data for performance. WebSockets provide real-time bidirectional communication between servers and client dashboards. MongoDB stores sync configurations and historical data. The sync engine uses sophisticated algorithms to handle Shopify API rate limits while maintaining near-instant synchronization. We implemented circuit breakers and retry logic for resilience, and comprehensive monitoring with automated alerting for proactive issue resolution.
