Project Overview

A smart city technology company approached DwelSoft with an ambitious vision to solve urban parking challenges through IoT technology. They wanted to create a comprehensive solution that would help drivers find available parking spots quickly, reduce traffic congestion caused by parking searches, and provide parking operators with valuable analytics and management tools.

We developed an end-to-end smart parking ecosystem consisting of IoT sensors, mobile applications, cloud-based management platform, and real-time data analytics. The solution integrates with existing parking infrastructure, provides live availability data, enables reservations and payments, and offers predictive analytics for optimal parking management. The platform now serves millions of users across 50+ cities worldwide.

DwelSoft designed a comprehensive IoT-based smart parking platform that seamlessly connects sensors, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure to create an intelligent parking ecosystem. Our solution addresses every aspect of the parking experience from discovery to payment.

Key Features Implemented

Technical Approach

We built the system using a microservices architecture deployed on AWS with IoT Core for device management. The sensor network uses LoRaWAN and cellular connectivity for reliable data transmission. Real-time data processing is handled by Kafka streams with Redis for ultra-fast availability lookups. The mobile apps are built with React Native for cross-platform consistency, while the operator dashboard uses React and D3.js for interactive visualizations. We implemented machine learning models using Python and TensorFlow for predictive analytics and demand forecasting.
